The nutty finish of pelinkovac complements this subtlety. And an aromatic touch of truffle oil further elevates the experience.
Ingredients
metric standard45 ml blended scotch
15 ml mushroom-infused rye whiskey
25 ml sweet vermouth
15 ml pelinkovac
2 dashes orange bitters
1 dash truffle oil
Orange peel (expression and garnish)
Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass. Add 1 scoop of ice and stir. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Express an orange peel and add as a garnish to the glass.
For mushroom-infused rye whiskey, pulverize shiitake mushrooms. Combine mushrooms and whiskey (50 g mushroom per 750 ml of whiskey). Infuse for 24 hours. Strain out all solids before using. Feel free to adjust the volume using the same ratios.
