The Cape Town Hopper’s crisp and creamy taste profile is modeled after a treasured local shooter, the springbokkie. The minty essence adds an enchanting elegance, while the chocolatey liqueur adds a touch of comfort.
Ingredients
metric standard25 ml crème de menthe
25 ml Amarula
15 ml crème de cacao
60 ml whole milk (or substitute with any milk alternatives)
Mint (garnish)
Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Add 1 scoop of ice and shake vigorously. Pour ingredients into a snifter glass. Add more ice. Garnish with mint.
For springbokkie, combine 25 ml of crème de menthe with 25 ml of Amarula.
